It's just that both our communities had a fight over the ST issue in 1930s that we are separated today. Even your leader Bhimbor Deori used to write Chutia as a surname before. How can mongoloids and Aryans...I agree wid Chandan.
How can mongoloids and Aryans be related??
We all know the fact that people from deori tribe were priest of chutiya kingdom. But dat doesnt make deori a division of chutiya. Deori and Chutiya r totally different.
As far my knowledge,Assam history was rewritten by some foreign researcher who himself said that whatever he had written about deori and chutiya was intepreted by his fellow assamese historians. and thos historians were mostly chutiya.so how can we beleive something that a foreigner wrote.
we should read the books written by our own people.
we being deoris shud raise voice against this ongoing misconcept.we need to protect our identity.Angel Redoihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16648766854550267926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5571506275111747455.post-40543580441465062852012-02-25T09:42:30.106+05:302012-02-25T09:42:30.106+05:30This comment has been removed by the author.prassannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09043566291789070418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5571506275111747455.post-47265254521720601932011-10-15T20:28:12.402+05:302011-10-15T20:28:12.402+05:30Please don't dilute the Deori's with chuti...Please don't dilute the Deori's with chutias we have our own Identity, I appreciate your work, but please try to understand you are a intelligent and Educated person don't miss lead the people, Other wise we will loose our own Identity, Chutia's already lost. Please remove the controversial inputes and save Jimachaya's , Deori language is already in the Endanger Language as per UNESCO. Hi I am Kalidas Shinde from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Deonar. I have complited my M.Phil Research on the topic: " Ethnographic Study of Denotified and Nomadic Tribes in Maharashtra: A Case of Davari Jogi/ Nath Panthi Davari Gosavi. I belong to this community. our community a nomadic tribes in Mharashtra but they also dont know their historic back ground. this our Davari community performs a role of the Village Priest and your community also perform a role of Priest. somewhere i feeling that their is must be any relation with the name Davari and Deori. why i am writing this because i have came across the some studies in britishers ethnographic and anthropologocal survey my community Davari they wrote as a Dauri, Daure etc. It great work by you on you community. all the best. if you want write me please email

kalidasmsw@gmail.com

Kalidas Shinde
PhD Scholar

Tata Institute of Social Sciences
Deonar, Mumbai
Maharashtra
IndiaNomadic tribes in indiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04704447429263231843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5571506275111747455.post-77832862081532616452011-02-03T13:11:24.653+05:302011-02-03T13:11:24.653+05:30excuse me i couldnot understand whether u r writin...excuse me i couldnot understand whether u r writing about deori's or cutia's. and why r u trying to connect deori's with those ariyan people [cutia].can u please define me hw mongolians and ariyans r related? plz dont missguide d youths of our community. dont involve politics with matters related to community. Thanks for comment...Ashim Most welcome to the Club!
Thanks for comment and arising question that how Deori are connected to Chutia's ?
This is the case of study to depth about our ancient era though we have not any written documents. If you desired to read some oldest book written by E.A. Gaits in 18th Century then I can send to you by mail.

And about 2nd question, as per my concerned we no need any LAND, the LAND is giving opportunity to some corrupted leader to do corruption more and more, there are nothing any development by getting any LAND, for example I advice to visit the Bodoland and Karbi Anglong, because I had visited that area, and analyse the situation, in Bodoland 80% people are living in vast worse condition then other part of Bodo Area, Like Sonitpur, Lakhimpur, Dhemaji. The People of Bangaigaon, Kokrajhar, Sirang district are will be live in hunger if they don't do bagger in Bhutan. even they have not facility for drinking water, the whole area of Sirang district are worsen for drinking water, because 70% water of that area are filling with POISONOUS ARSENIC and the leader of bodoland is nothing doing anything for the people, but they are buying Toyota, Mercedes, BMW car for their luxury life. So, if there "More LAND then MORE LEADER and MORE SCAM", we can develop ourself without any LAND if we have positive and competitive motivation. For example look at the Deori people of Mahadevpur, Lohit Distict of Arunachal Pradesh, they producing more educated people and doing prestigious JOB in every corner of India and abroad, even they don't get ST certificate from the Arunachal Authority, like us. They are the example hero for us, they shows us that without such a (ST, LAND)facility, we can compete with the world. At last this is my personal view about so called LAND. And such a land are create misunderstanding amidst the brotherhood with other community.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07442936570215709671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5571506275111747455.post-88216207411553505362010-12-24T02:09:37.447+05:302010-12-24T02:09:37.447+05:30its a pleasure to know the history of our own cult...its a pleasure to know the history of our own culture...myself being deori(dobongia) i have some questions...
1.how deori are connected to chutia's?
2.if boro can hav have their own 'bodo land',why can't we?.............ashim aireoUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13347144347975889377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5571506275111747455.post-37387937804876241292010-11-08T19:42:32.563+05:302010-11-08T19:42:32.563+05:30thanks sourav dada..i hav read it..hehethanks sourav dada..i hav read it..heheritomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05700886667183624084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5571506275111747455.post-63169203359644007692010-02-08T10:41:21.802+05:302010-02-08T10:41:21.802+05:30Sourabh, Thanks for encoragement. hope we can live...Sourabh, Thanks for encoragement. hope we can live our culture & tradition through sharing valuable information.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07442936570215709671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5571506275111747455.post-50128271956895224252010-02-03T02:41:42.671+05:302010-02-03T02:41:42.671+05:30Thanks for collecting the information.
